Regardless of what materials jewelry is made of, it requires the most careful handling. A few simple manipulations and precautions will help to preserve the splendor and brilliance of jewelry for a long time.
We advise bringing your STDIAMOND products to us for professional service. Our staff has specialized knowledge and experience in all aspects of jewelry care: cleaning, polishing, replacing worn items and other details. Once a year, it is recommended that you conduct a professional inspection of the jewelry at a STDIAMOND jeweler for worn fixtures, tears, and general wear of the product. If the product is contaminated, we recommend contacting a STDIAMOND jewelry workshop for cleaning with special cleaning agents. Please note that ultrasonic cleaning is unsafe for many precious stones, so we do not recommend using this method yourself.
We also recommend that you gently wipe the jewelry with a soft cloth.
Avoid contact of jewelry with perfumes, soaps, chemicals and cosmetics that can change the color and appearance of materials.
Before putting on jewelry, make sure that perfumes and cosmetics are completely absorbed into the skin.
Try to avoid contact of jewelry with water (fresh, chlorinated or salty) and exposure to high temperatures (prolonged exposure to the sun).

It is not recommended to wear jewelry during sports, gardening, etc., since in these cases they are exposed to various substances and the risk of mechanical damage.

The jewelry that you wear every day or just occasionally, may lose its original appearance. Specialists of our boutiques and workshops painstakingly clean it in order to return the refined radiance to it.

For this, various methods are applied, depending on the material from which the jewelry is made, and on its technical features. The decoration is usually immersed in a solution of a very mild detergent, and then thoroughly dried. In some cases, at the preliminary stage of cleaning, they use a special cream and wipe the jewelry with a special kind of fabric.
Gold and platinum can be purified using a soap solution. Gold or platinum jewelry that is dull or scratched can be refinished to restore their original shine. To restore color and radiance, a new rhodium coating can also be applied to white gold. Gold is resistant to most chemicals and acids.
